VICTIMS OF BRADLEY REGER
August 29, 2023

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Sacramento Division and Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) are seeking to identify potential victims of Bradley Earl Reger, 67, of Susanville. A federal grand jury returned a five-count indictment against Reger on July 20, 2023, charging him with engaging in illicit sexual activity abroad, transportation of a minor with intent to engage in criminal sexual activity, and coercion and enticement.

Court documents allege that Reger targeted males between the ages of 12 and 18. Many of these alleged victims allegedly attended religious-affiliated schools, institutions, trips, camps, or clinics.

ROBBERY & ID THEFT El Dorado SO 23-3439 CS 23-049
August 25, 2023

On May 2, 2023, a victim at Livity Treatment Center in El Dorado Hills reported that someone stole her credit cards and cash from a wallet that was in a purse in her office during business hours.  Stolen credit cards were used at a Safeway in Rancho Cordova and CVS in Sacramento.  Video From CVS showed suspect to be a female black wearing all black clothing, black baseball hat and a light- colored face mask.

 

A similar crime occurred on Setember 20, 2021, at an Acupuncture business only 2.4 miles down the street from Livity. Credit cards were stolen from a wallet that had been on an office desk during business hours. Stolen credit cards were used at Rite Aid in Cameron Park, CVS in Cameron Park and CVS in Folsom. Videos showed a female black wearing a white hoodie, light blue base ball cap with “Gap” on front, black shorts and blue face mask.

rFATAL HIT & RUN Railyards & Bercut Dr CS 23-047
August 17, 2023

On August 17, 2023, just after 5:30 AM, Sacramento Police Department patrol officers responded to Railyards Boulevard and Bercut Drive regarding a report of a collision involving a vehicle and a bicyclist.  A male adult was located in the roadway with serious injuries. Officers began life-saving measures until the Sacramento Fire Department arrived on scene. Despite the efforts, the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. The involved vehicle fled the scene after the c FATAL HIT & RUN    Railyards & Bercut Dr   CS 23-047 ollision.

Through Detective follow-up, it is believed that the suspect vehicle is a dark colored, 2004 to 2008 Acura TL with front/driver side damage.

On October 31, 2008, five days after his 18th birthday, Colin Reid, Jr., was shot in the head outside the apartment complex where he lived on Lampasas Avenue in North Sacramento.

HOMICIDE VICTIM RAVEN LABIT SSO CS 23-044
August 03, 2023

On April 8th, 2018, a fisherman discovered a bag of human remains while fishing off of a dock on the Mokelumne River in Isleton. After the initial investigation which involved using investigative genetic genealogy, detectives determined the remains were that of Raven Labit from Fayetteville Arkansas.
 
Raven was the victim of human trafficking.  She spent time in Sacramento along Stockton Boulevard and Watt Avenue.  She was also known to be in the Rancho Murietta and Sloughhouse areas.

ARMED ROBBERY SSO Robbery 23-165552 CS 23-038
June 28, 2023

On May 28, 2023, two suspects entered Suzie's at 5136 Auburn Boulevard.  Suspect 1 selected merchandise and approached the cash register with Suspect 2.  When the clerk rang up the merchandise, Suspect 1 pointed a black semi-automatic handgun at the clerk and demanded money from the register.  The clerk complied.  Suspect 1 took the money and merchandise, and both suspects exited the business, fleeing in an early model 2000's red Mazda Protege with sunroof.
 
Suspect 1 is a White male adult approximately 6' 2" tall, weighing 200 pounds.  He wore a black baseball cap, dark T-shirt, dark pants, and black and white shoes.  He appears to have tattoos on his arms.
 
Suspect 2 is a White female adult in her late 40's to early 50's, approximately 5' 2" tall and weighting 165 pounds.  She has dark shoulder-length hair.  She wore a black tank top with horizontal black and white stripes running down the front of the shirt, light-colored shorts, and black and white shoes.

xHOMCIDE ON 36TH AVE SPD CS 23-035
June 11, 2023

On June 9, 2023, around 11:21 p.m., Sacramento Police Department patrol officers responded to the 7800 block of 36th Ave, where a house party with over 80 people was in progress.   Officers located two victims who each sustained at least one gunshot wound. Officers immediately began performing life-saving measures. Despite these efforts, one victim, a male adult, was pronounced deceased on the scene by Sacramento Fire Department personnel. The second victim was transported to an area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

FATAL HIT & RUN CHP Placerville CS 23-034
June 08, 2023

Have you seen a white 2018-22 Honda Accord, possibly with damage to the front and a missing side mirror?

Josiah Stayner, 16, from Pilot Hill died from injuries sustained in a hit and run on Highway 50 early Monday, June 5, 2023.

California Highway Patrol officers received a call at 3 AM Monday reporting a pedestrian on Highway 50 west of El Dorado Road between Placerville and Shingle Springs.   Officers located a young man in the center median with severe injuries.  He was later pronounced dead at UC Davis Medical Center.

ARSON Sac Metro Fire SC 23-033
June 08, 2023

On Wednesday, June 7, 2023, just before 5:00 AM, an arson occurred at a ghost kitchen in a commercial shopping center on Madison Avenue.  Two suspects were captured on video pulling up to the business in a white van.  The video shows them breaking glass out front and throwing the flammable fluid inside, igniting a fire.  Damage is estimated at $120,000.

xHOMICIDE SPD 22-167198 CS 22-037
May 22, 2023

On June 15th, 2022 at approximately 10:22 PM, Officers responded to the 3000 block of Ponderosa Ave in North Sacramento regarding a shooting that had just occurred. The victims were seated in their parked vehicle when a shooting occurred, with a gunshot striking victim Detwarn Buntun. Buntun later died at the hospital from his injuries.
