On October 10, 2022, at 02:50 AM, a 4-door compact black pickup truck pulled up to 841 Calvados Ave in Sacramento. A 6', 250- pound male adult, unknown race, wearing a black ski mask exited the vehicle. After smashing the back window of a blue Honda Rav4, the individual lit a road flare and placed it into the vehicle igniting a fire. There is no known motive for this crime.

On September 18, 2022, this individual was captured on video lighting multiple fires in the area of Mack Road and Highway 99.
He is described as a Black male in is 40 - 50s, 6', 165 pounds, bald, with a black mustache.

September 21, 2022
On July 25, 2022, 2 suspects stole a money box at a recycling center at Kings Market on El Camino Avenue. One of the suspects had a knife while the other suspect pushed the victim causing him to trip.
Suspect #1 - Black male juvenile, wearing a red t-shirt, blue jean, and red athletic shoes.
Suspect #2 - Black male juvenile, wearing a black t-shirt, red pants, and white and black athletic shoes.
On August 17, 2022, 3 suspects again robbed the recycling center, knocked down the employee and grabbed the cash box. Suspect 3 had a gun, and it is believed the same suspects are involved.

On September 18, 2022, the suspect attempted to carjack the victim's vehicle. The suspect reached into the victim's vehicle and tazed him twice with a Pink Cheetah print tazer.
The suspect is described as an Hispanic male in his mid-late 20s, 5' 08" tall, with a heavy build, long hair, and a goatee. He wore a white long-sleeved T-shirt.
He was associated with a 2001 silver Honda Civic with license 8SIR464.

On July 12, 2022, at approximately 7:37 PM, a shooting/robbery occurred on a Sacramento Regional Transit light rail train as it arrived at the Florin light rail station. The suspects were last seen running north through the parking lot. Prior to the incident, the suspects boarded the train at the 47th Avenue light rail station.
The suspect is described as a Black male approximately 16-19 years old, dark complected, 5’10”, 160-170 pounds with short twists in his hair. He was wearing red/white colored basketball shoes.
He was accompanied by a light skinned male approximately 16-19 years old, 6’00” and wearing white basketball shoes with green trim and carrying a blue “Nautica” backpack.

On August 30, 2022, at 1:07 AM, the victim arrived at Wells Fargo ATM on the 1500 block of West El Camino Avenue to withdraw money. He was approached by a suspect who pointed a gun at him and grabbed money out of his hand. The suspect ran eastbound toward Popeye's.
The suspect is a White male juvenile with a slim build. He was wearing a black ski mask covering his face, a black hoodie, cargo pants, and was holding a green-colored handgun in his right hand.

On June 10, 2022, at 5:45 PM, the victim was standing in line at the Great Gas Station, 3040 Auburn Boulevard, Sacramento, when the suspect approached him and attempted to gain possession of the victim’s wallet, containing $800 in cash. A physical confrontation ensued where the suspect struck the victim in the head and body multiple times, causing visible injury and complaint of pain. The suspect eventually overcame the victim’s resistance and stole the wallet. The suspect fled on foot.
The suspect is described as a White male adult, 20 – 25 years old, 6’ – 6’ 02” tall, 200 – 215 pounds, with brown hair. He was wearing a white/dark zip-up hooded jacket, dark pants, and dark tennis shoes.

On August 25, 2022, at 2:45 PM, the subject approached the victim on foot as she was exiting the Dollar General on Hillsdale Boulevard in Sacramento. He brandished a handgun and demanded victim's vehicle’s keys. The victim handed over her keys, cellphone and purse. The suspect subsequently entered the vehicle and fled the area. The vehicle was located abandoned shortly after on 32nd St just south of Elkhorn Blvd. Witnesses in the area observed the suspect flee the area on foot towards Elkhorn Blvd. Per CCTV review, the suspect arrived on foot from southbound Walerga Rd, north of the shopping center where the incident occurred. He may live in the area.
The suspect is described as a Black male adult, 18-21 years old, approximately 5’10”- 6’ tall, with a thin build, medium skin complexion, and short dark hair. He was wearing a black tank top, blue jeans, white shoes, carrying a gray backpack and small gray single strap bag. He was armed with a silver handgun.

In the early morning hours of August 22, 2017, Terry McCauley was gunned down at his residence on Painter Way in North Highlands and discovered by his young daughter, who was also home at the time of the crime.
We just passed the 5 year anniversary and Homicide Detectives are seeking any information from the public on this case.
