HOMICIDE VICTIM RAVEN LABIT SSO CS 23-044
August 03, 2023

On April 8th, 2018, a fisherman discovered a bag of human remains while fishing off of a dock on the Mokelumne River in Isleton. After the initial investigation which involved using investigative genetic genealogy, detectives determined the remains were that of Raven Labit from Fayetteville Arkansas.
 
Raven was the victim of human trafficking.  She spent time in Sacramento along Stockton Boulevard and Watt Avenue.  She was also known to be in the Rancho Murietta and Sloughhouse areas.

On May 24, 2023, at about 2:30 PM, a home in the area of Fair Oaks Blvd and Crocker Road was burglarized.  A doorbell camera captured photos of this individual at the front door around the same time.

ROBBERY El Dorado SO 23-2217 CS 23-040
July 12, 2023

On March 17, 2023, about 12:45 PM, suspects observed an elderly female shopping alone at the El Dorado Hills Nugget store and walked down the same aisle.  They pretended to shop for items near the victim. Suspect 1 reached over the victim’s cart pretending to grab something from the shelf, but instead stole the victim’s wallet from her open purse that was in her shopping cart.

After stealing the wallet, the suspects used a stolen card at the Target in the same shopping center (Town Center).

 

Suspect 1 is a Black female adult with two long black braids.  She was wearing a gray "Friends" sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, and a blue face mask.

 

Suspect 2 is a Black female adult with a ponytail.  She was wearing a black "Pink" zip-up sweatshirt, black pants, and a black face mask.

 

The suspects are associated with an unknown white SUV.

BURGLARY & ID THEFT SC Park Rangers 23-122397 CS 23-039

The individual in the photograph is suspected of using a stolen credit/debit card to make purchases on April 22, 2023.  The cards were stolen from a car parked along the American River Parkway and used at several locations near the Folsom Outlets.

ARMED ROBBERY SSO Robbery 23-165552 CS 23-038
June 28, 2023

On May 28, 2023, two suspects entered Suzie's at 5136 Auburn Boulevard.  Suspect 1 selected merchandise and approached the cash register with Suspect 2.  When the clerk rang up the merchandise, Suspect 1 pointed a black semi-automatic handgun at the clerk and demanded money from the register.  The clerk complied.  Suspect 1 took the money and merchandise, and both suspects exited the business, fleeing in an early model 2000's red Mazda Protege with sunroof.
 
Suspect 1 is a White male adult approximately 6' 2" tall, weighing 200 pounds.  He wore a black baseball cap, dark T-shirt, dark pants, and black and white shoes.  He appears to have tattoos on his arms.
 
Suspect 2 is a White female adult in her late 40's to early 50's, approximately 5' 2" tall and weighting 165 pounds.  She has dark shoulder-length hair.  She wore a black tank top with horizontal black and white stripes running down the front of the shirt, light-colored shorts, and black and white shoes.

ASSAULT SSO Crimes v Persons 23-131382 CS 23-037
June 27, 2023

In the early morning hours of April 30, 2023, two unknown female suspects entered the I-Hop restaurant located on Arden Way. The victim, an employee at the I-Hop restaurant notified the two female suspects they were only doing to-go orders. The two suspects got upset with the victim. One of the female suspects kicked the victim, knocking her to the ground, and then both suspects started punching and kicking her while she was on the floor, causing the victim to suffer significant injuries.

HOMCIDE ON 36TH AVE SPD CS 23-035
June 11, 2023

On June 9, 2023, around 11:21 p.m., Sacramento Police Department patrol officers responded to the 7800 block of 36th Ave, where a house party with over 80 people was in progress.   Officers located two victims who each sustained at least one gunshot wound. Officers immediately began performing life-saving measures. Despite these efforts, one victim, a male adult, was pronounced deceased on the scene by Sacramento Fire Department personnel. The second victim was transported to an area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

FATAL HIT & RUN CHP Placerville CS 23-034

Have you seen a white 2018-22 Honda Accord, possibly with damage to the front and a missing side mirror?

Josiah Stayner, 16, from Pilot Hill died from injuries sustained in a hit and run on Highway 50 early Monday, June 5, 2023.

California Highway Patrol officers received a call at 3 AM Monday reporting a pedestrian on Highway 50 west of El Dorado Road between Placerville and Shingle Springs.   Officers located a young man in the center median with severe injuries.  He was later pronounced dead at UC Davis Medical Center.

ARSON Sac Metro Fire SC 23-033
June 08, 2023

On Wednesday, June 7, 2023, just before 5:00 AM, an arson occurred at a ghost kitchen in a commercial shopping center on Madison Avenue.  Two suspects were captured on video pulling up to the business in a white van.  The video shows them breaking glass out front and throwing the flammable fluid inside, igniting a fire.  Damage is estimated at $120,000.

May 31, 2023

On May 13, 2023, at about 4:33 PM, this suspect was captured on video lighting a garbage can on fire at historic “Heilbraun” mansion at 704 O Street in Sacramento.  
 
The suspect is described as a Black male adult,  5’10” to 6’3”, 220 to 250 pounds, with a bald head and beard.
